Job summary

VHC Health seeks a Registered Nurse to provide comprehensive nursing care for assigned patients across units, with supervision of designated staff. You will follow hospital policies and communicate effectively to ensure quality care.

The role requires an Associate’s Degree in Nursing and Virginia RN licensure (or compact state licensure), plus BLS, with ACLS/PALS/NRP as dictated by unit needs. A strong patient-first approach is essential.

Qualifications

Registered Nurse with RN license issued by Virginia or a compact state.
BLS certification required; ACLS/PALS/NRP as designated per unit.
Minimum of 1 year of Nursing/Patient Care experience.
ACLS/PALS/NRP certifications are listed as required or encouraged per specific units.

Responsibilities

Provide direct and indirect total nursing care for assigned patients.
Supervise and direct assigned personnel on the unit.
Interpret and apply hospital policies and procedures in care delivery.
Communicate information effectively through written, verbal, and visual formats.
