Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's in Nursing required.
• One year of Nursing/Patient Care in an acute care setting required.
• Licensed as a Registered Nurse by the Virginia Department of Health Professions or Compact State Licensure required.
• BLS certification required.
• ACLS/PALS/other specialty certifications may be required depending on unit.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct and indirect total nursing care for assigned patients.
• Supervise assigned personnel and coordinate care with the nursing team.
• Apply policies and procedures relevant to nursing care and communicate effectively with patients and families.
