Job summary

VHC Health is seeking a Registered Nurse to provide direct and indirect nursing care for assigned patients in a Virginia facility. The role includes supervision of support staff and strict adherence to department and hospital policies.

A Virginia RN license or compact state licensure, plus BLS, ACLS or PALS as required by unit, are required. Experience in acute care is expected, and the posted range reflects market compensation for nursing roles in the area with comprehensive benefits and

Bachelor's in Nursing required.
One year of Nursing/Patient Care in an acute care setting is required.
Licensed as a Registered Nurse by the Virginia Department of Health Professions or Compact State Licensure required; BLS certification required.
ACLS, PALS, or other listed certifications may be required depending on unit.

Responsibilities

Provide direct and indirect total nursing care for assigned patients.
Supervise assigned personnel and ensure adherence to policies and procedures.
Interpret and communicate information effectively to patients, families and team members.
Maintain required certifications and participate in ongoing education as specified by unit.
