Job summary

VHC Health in Arlington, VA seeks a Registered Nurse (RN) to provide direct and indirect total nursing care on the 4NE/Medical Surgical unit. The RN will supervise assigned staff and ensure alignment with hospital policies and procedures.

Requires Associate's in Nursing, at least one year of nursing/patient care, and Virginia RN license or compact licensure with BLS. ACLS/PALS may be required on designated units, with ongoing credentialing support from the hospital.

Qualifications

• Associate's in Nursing required.
• One year of Nursing/Patient Care experience required.
• RN license in Virginia or Compact State licensure required; BLS certification required.
• ACLS and/or PALS certifications often required for designated units.
• Credential maintenance per hospital policies.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct and indirect total nursing care for assigned patients.
• Supervise and coordinate care of assigned personnel.
• Adhere to department and hospital policies and communicate effectively.
