The Deputy Women Veterans Program Manager (D-WVPM) Registered Nurse (RN) provides knowledge-based care to Veterans while developing technical skills. The D-WVPM oversees reproductive health care for women Veterans, including perinatal and infertility care outsourced to community providers. The RN supervises five RN-perinatal care coordinators within the Women Veterans Health Program across 28 counties in East Texas.
Basic Requirements:
Preferred Experience: Prior nurse management, informatics, change management, effective interdisciplinary communication, mental health, and reproductive health care experience are preferred.
Physical Requirements: Heavy lifting, carrying, pulling, pushing, reaching, use of fingers, walking, standing, bending, operating machinery, visual acuity, driver's license, and exposure to various patient care environments.
