Join the thriving Honors team at UD working closely with high-achieving, talented undergraduate students! The University Honors Program (UHP) Program Coordinator coordinates events where prospective and current students learn about the opportunities provided through the Honors student experience, such as “Honors Student Welcome,” “Signature Program Showcase,” Resource Fairs at New Student Orientation, and registration information sessions. Leading the Honors Student Advisory Council and working with Honors student employees, the Program Coordinator develops co-curricular programming and social activities for UHP to foster identity, community, and engagement within the program.
The position’s responsibilities include coordinating the application and selection process for Honors signature programs including Chaminade Scholars, Global Flyers, and Cordell Hull fellowships. The Program Coordinator leads the Dublin Flyers program, working with external agencies and supporting students in the program. The Program Coordinator will also communicate with various constituents, including prospective students, current students, campus partners (such as Student Transitions and Family Programs), and alumni through social media and the UD web-based learning management system Canvas.
Collaborating with Housing and Residence Life, the Program Coordinator oversees the Honors Special Interest House and supports Honors Living Learning Communities.
