Job summary

UMass Memorial Health in Worcester is seeking an RN to plan, deliver, and manage direct patient care using the nursing process, from admission to discharge, across developmental ages.

You will assess patients, develop individualized care plans, coordinate discharge planning, supervise colleagues, and delegate tasks within your scope. A Massachusetts RN license and BLS are required, and ACLS is preferred. This role supports our commitment to compassionate, high‑quality care.

Qualifications

• Massachusetts nursing licensure and registration required.
• BLS is required for every RN; ACLS if current.
• BSN highly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Uses the Nursing Process for the delivery and management of patient's care from Admission to Discharge.
• Performs patient assessment/reassessment according to standard procedure.
• Develops and coordinates individual plan of care including discharge planning.
• Directs, supervises, coordinates and evaluate nursing care within assigned clinical setting.
• Delegates appropriately to others in accordance with job description and competency level.
