Job summary

The Registered Nurse (RN) is responsible for utilizing the nursing process to provide individualized nursing care to patients. Coordinates care, patient assessment, education, triage, and various nursing interventions in collaboration with physicians and other inter-professional colleagues.

Demonstrates competency within the full scope of nursing practice and adheres to the Nurse Practice Act and state rules. Sanford Health offers a comprehensive benefits package for eligible staff.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited nursing program; Bachelor’s Degree in nursing preferred.
• Currently holds an unencumbered RN license with the State Board of Nursing.

Responsibilities

• Provide individualized nursing care using the nursing process (assessment, diagnosis, outcomes/planning, implementation and evaluation).
• Coordinate care, patient assessment, patient education, triage and various nursing interventions.
• Collaborate with physicians and other inter-professional colleagues to plan, implement and evaluate care.
