Job summary

Majestic Care of Lafayette seeks a Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team and provide skilled nursing on an assigned unit, under nursing management. You will supervise CNAs, implement care plans, assess residents, and document changes to support medical care and regulatory compliance.

The position includes a $5,000 sign-on bonus, quarterly pay increases, daily pay options, and benefits such as company-paid life insurance and Telehealth services.

Qualifications

• Graduate of accredited nursing program.
• Current RN license in the state of employment in good standing.
• CPR certification preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Initiate and lead team conferences in development of individualized nursing care plans.
• Assess and document the residents' condition and nursing needs.
• Implement physicians’ orders accurately and promptly.
• Administer medications, start IVs, and document treatments.
• Participate in orientation and in-service training for personnel.
• Assist physicians with tests and procedures within Nursing Practice Act.
• Report and record pertinent observations regarding residents.
• Coordinate nursing care when residents undergo therapy or procedures.
• Assist with emergency measures for sudden adverse developments.
