Job summary

Majestic Care of Southport is seeking Registered Nurses to join our team and uphold our core values. You will render skilled nursing care to residents, supervise CNAs, and support medical care under nursing management.

We offer a $5,000 sign-on bonus and a commitment to compassionate, high-quality patient care. The role includes collaboration with physicians, ongoing training, and opportunities for cross-team coordination within Majestic Care facilities.

Qualifications

• Graduate of accredited school of nursing.
• Licensed as an RN in the state employed; license must be active, valid, and in good standing.
• CPR teaching certificate preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Initiate and lead team conferences in development of individualized nursing care plans.
• Assess and document the residents’ condition and nursing needs.
• Accurately and promptly implement physicians’ orders.
• Administer medications, start IVs, and perform treatments for assigned residents and document that treatment as required by Majestic Care and local, state, and federal rules and regulations.
• Participate in orientation and in-service training for personnel.
• Assist physicians with special tests and procedures within the scope of state specified Nursing Practice Act.
• Report and record pertinent observations and reactions regarding residents.
• Coordinate nursing care of residents when scheduled for therapy or procedures by other departments.
• Assist with or institute emergency measures for sudden adverse developments in residents.
