Qualifications

• Current and valid New Jersey Nursing license is required.

• A minimum of 2 years of critical care nursing experience is required.
• ACLS/ NIHSS certifications are required.
• Telemetry certification is required.
• TNCC preferred.
• BSN in progress and/or willing to acquire within three (3) years of hire.
• Ability to learn quickly, adapt to changing patient needs, and strong teamwork and patient-focused care.

Responsibilities

• Deliver nursing care according to evidence-based practices, policies, and standards of care.
• Maintain ongoing communication with patients, families, and health care team.
• Administer medications with bar-scanning and documentation technologies.
• Document patient assessments and care plans in real time.
• Provide patient and family education to optimize health and disease management.
• Collaborate on safe discharge planning and care transitions.
