Job summary

Methodist Hospital is seeking a Registered Nurse to join our Critical Care Float Pool team. The RN will manage patient care episodes in collaboration with patients, families, and the care team to ensure safe, high-quality outcomes.

The position features a 0.75 FTE schedule with 12-hour rotating day/night shifts and every third weekend, requiring telemetry/care coordination across units and supervision of nursing staff as needed.

Qualifications

• Telemetry experience required; critical care experience preferred.
• Completion of an associate, baccalaureate, or master’s degree program in Nursing. BSN preferred and generally expected that BSN is obtained within 2 years of hire.
• Valid Minnesota Registered Nurse License
• BLS provider status in accordance with American Heart Association (AHA) guidelines

Position Summary

The Registered Nurse (RN) manages the episode of patient care in partnership with persons, care givers, groups and other providers to reach a shared goal of delivering safe, quality health care. This patient care may be through direct care by the RN, or it may be through coordinating and supervising patient care delegated to, Nursing Assistants and other unlicensed assistive personnel.

Work Schedule

0.75 FTE, Rotating Day/Night 12-hour shifts & every third weekend

Required Qualifications

• Telemetry experience required, critical care experience preferred.
