Job summary

Mercy is seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse to provide patient care using the nursing process, maintain patient rights and confidentiality, and coordinate treatment with multiple departments to ensure safe, compassionate care.

Education must be from an accredited nursing program (AD, Diploma, or BSN). An active RN license (state or compact) and BLS certification are required, with possible additional certifications such as ACLS/NRP/TNCC depending on the unit.

Qualifications

• RN license within the hiring state and/or compact licensure.
• Basic Life Support certification or within 30 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Utilizes the nursing process to provide patient care.
• Maintains professional accountability for patient care for assigned patients.
• Evaluates the overall effectiveness of care provided by other direct care givers.
• Coordinates patient care with other departments.
• Maintains patient rights and confidentiality of patient information.
