Advanced Correctional Healthcare, Inc. seeks a dedicated Registered Nurse to provide comprehensive medical care within a Springfield correctional facility. You will assess patients, administer prescribed medications, and coordinate with practitioners to ensure timely treatment and safe patient outcomes.

You will document care accurately, monitor vital signs, participate in quality improvement, and maintain infection control standards while upholding HIPAA requirements and facility policies.

Qualifications

• Active nursing license in the state of practice.
• BLS certification with hands-on training.
• Excellent documentation skills.
• Knowledge of the RN scope of practice and clinical standards.

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, and deliver nursing care to patients.
• Administer medications and treatments as ordered by practitioners.
• Provide emergency first aid when needed.
• Record vital signs and other clinical data accurately.
• Coordinate care with multiple medical services and departments.
• Maintain infection control practices and aseptic techniques.
• Ensure patient confidentiality and HIPAA compliance.
• Train and assist other staff as needed.
