Job summary

Advanced Correctional Healthcare, Inc. is seeking a registered nurse to provide comprehensive nursing care within a correctional health setting.

You will assess, plan, and deliver nursing care, administer prescribed medications, and coordinate with practitioners to ensure timely treatment. The role requires strong documentation, adherence to HIPAA, infection control, and the ability to work with diverse teams across facilities.

Qualifications

• Active nursing license in the state where services are provided.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification with hands-on training.
• Excellent documentation skills and knowledge of the RN scope of practice.

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, and deliver nursing care to patients.
• Administer prescribed medications and treatments as ordered.
• Check and record vital signs and other diagnostic data on-site.
• Triage intake screenings for necessity and priority at sick call.
• Maintain patient confidentiality and HIPAA practices.
• Collaborate with practitioners and multiple medical services as directed.
