Hackensack Meridian Health is hiring a Registered Nurse at Jersey Shore University Medical Center in New Jersey. Requirements include a valid NJ nursing license, BLS/CPR, ACLS, PALS, NIH and telemetry certifications, and PACU experience.

Qualifications

• Current and valid New Jersey Nursing license
• Active American Heart Association BLS/CPR certification
• ACLS and PALS certification
• NIH certification
• Telemetry certification
• IV certification with adult experience
• PACU weekend rotation
• Recent critical care unit nursing experience
• 6 months PACU experience preferred
• Preoperative nursing experience preferred
• National certification preferred
• Excellent communication skills
• Willingness to learn and adapt with a strong patient focus

Responsabilités

• Deliver nursing care per evidence-based policies and standards to ensure safe, high-quality patient care.
• Maintain ongoing communication with patients, families, and the health care team about status and plans.
• Administer medications with bar-scanning and documentation technologies for safety.
• Document care in real-time using Point-of-Care systems.
• Provide patient and family education to support health and disease management.
• Coordinate multidisciplinary discharges for safe transitions of care.
