Qualifications

• Current and valid New Jersey Nursing license is required.

• ACLS is required.
• Minimum of 2 years of recent adult critical care or ED nursing experience.
• BSN in progress and/or willing to acquire within three years of hire.
• Strong teamwork, accountability and patient-focused care are essential.

Responsibilities

• Delivery of nursing practices per evidence-based standards for safe, high-quality patient care.
• Ongoing communication with patients, families and health care team about status and plans.
• Medication administration using bar-scanning and documentation technologies.
• Point-of-Care electronic documentation of assessments, care plans, and evaluations.
• Patient and family education to optimize health and disease management.
• Multidisciplinary discharge planning for safe transition of care.
