Job summary

You will participate in medication administration, electronic documentation, and patient education, with a focus on high-quality care and teamwork across shifts. Starting rate is $45.14 per hour with a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Current and valid New Jersey Nursing license is required.
• BLS/CPR certification by American Heart Association within 60 days of hire.
• Minimum 6 months nursing experience or active Nurse Residency participation.
• Telemetry certification preferred.
• BSN in progress and/or willing to acquire within three years of hire.

Responsibilities

• Delivery of nursing practices per evidence-based standards to ensure safe, individualized patient care.
• Ongoing communication with patients, nursing colleagues and care team about patient status and plans.
• Medication administration with bar-scanning and documentation technologies.
• Point-of-Care electronic documentation of assessments, plans, interventions, and evaluations.
• Patient and family education to optimize health and disease management.
• Multi-disciplinary discharging to ensure safe care transition.
