Essentia Health St. Mary’s- Detroit Lakes seeks an experienced nurse to organize and provide nursing care across the assessment, planning, intervention, and evaluation cycle. You will delegate care to qualified staff and uphold the hospital’s mission and regulatory standards.

The role requires an active nursing license in Minnesota, with BCLS and ACLS certifications obtained within specified timeframes. This position is based in Detroit Lakes in the Surgery department.

Competenze

• BSN or ADN degree from an accredited school or college of nursing.
• Current nursing licensure in state(s) of employment.
• BCLS certification within one month; ACLS certification within one year.

Job Description:

Responsible for organizing and providing nursing care to patients through the process of assessment, planning, intervention, and evaluation. Delegates aspects of care to other nursing personnel based upon their licensure, preparation and job descriptions. Contributes to the meeting of the mission and goals of the facility and Essentia, and meets the requirements of the Joint Commission if applicable and/or other federal, state and local regulatory or accrediting agencies.

Education Qualifications:

• BSN or ADN degree from an accredited school or college of nursing

This position requires the ability to work the following:

• 16 hours per month

Licensure/Certification Qualifications:

• Current nursing licensure in state(s) of employment
• Pervious OR experience preferred
• Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification within one month
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification within one year
