USA Health is seeking a registered nurse to provide patient-centered care across units, collaborating with physicians and the healthcare team. The role includes acting as charge nurse when assigned, supervising staff, and ensuring CPR readiness per AHA standards.

The RN will document care in the hospital system, educate patients and families, and participate in continuous quality improvement while upholding confidentiality and ethical standards.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited school of nursing is required.
• RN licensure in Alabama or compact state required.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
• Comparable combination of education and experience may substitute for the above requirements.

Responsabilités

• Practices patient-centered nursing according to policies and Nurse Practice Act.
• Serves as charge nurse when assigned.
• Supervises, plans, evaluates, and coordinates patient care provided by other licensed and non-licensed staff.
• Demonstrates CPR according to American Heart Association standards.
• Maintains accurate and complete medical records using hospital systems.
• Communicates with physicians, patients, families and healthcare team in person and via telephone.
