Qualifications

• RN - State Licensure in Alabama or a compact state required.
• ACLS certification within 180 days of hire is required.
• BLS certification required at time of hire.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care within scope of practice.
• Serve as charge nurse when assigned and supervise staff.
• Administer medications and monitor patient responses; manage IVs and blood products.
• Ensure compliance with all policies, infection control standards, and safety guidelines.
• Communicate effectively with physicians, patients, and families.
• Document accurately in the Hospital Information System and maintain records.
