Job summary

USA Health is seeking a Registered Nurse to provide patient-centered care across our Gulf Coast facilities. The role includes serving as charge nurse when assigned, supervising care teams, and ensuring CPR readiness per AHA standards.

You will administer medications, including controlled substances, and maintain precise medical records within the hospital system. Requirements include graduation from an accredited nursing program, Alabama RN licensure (or compact state), and BLS certification.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited nursing program is required.
• RN licensure in Alabama or a compact state is required.
• BLS certification required upon hire.
• Comparable combination of education and experience may substitute for the above requirements.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient-centered nursing according to policies and Nurse Practice Act.
• Serve as charge nurse when assigned.
• Supervise, plan, evaluate, and coordinate patient care provided by other licensed and non-licensed staff.
• Demonstrates CPR according to American Heart Association standards.
• Administer medications including controlled substances by all routes.
• Maintain accurate and complete medical records in the Hospital Information System.
