Job summary

USA Health is seeking a Registered Nurse to provide and coordinate patient care across units on the Mobile campus. The nurse will perform nursing assessments, plan individualized care, and implement evidence-based interventions, while ensuring patient safety and family education.

Responsibilities include serving as charge nurse when assigned, supervising licensed and unlicensed staff, administering medications, and maintaining thorough documentation in the Hospital Information System.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited school of nursing; required.
• RN – Registered Nurse; State Licensure and/or Compact State Licensure in Alabama; required on hire.
• BCLS – Basic Life Support; required on hire.
• Comparable combination of education and experience may substitute for the above requirements.

Responsibilities

• Practices family‑centered nursing per policies and Nurse Practice Act.
• Serves as charge nurse when assigned; supervises and coordinates patient care.
• Demonstrates CPR per American Heart Association standards.
• Maintains accurate medical records and documents promptly.
• Administers medications, including controlled substances, and blood products.
