HCA Houston Healthcare Pearland is seeking a Registered Nurse to coordinate nursing care in the Cath Lab/Hemodynamics unit. This PRN role requires adherence to patient care standards, leadership within care teams, and independent clinical judgment in line with unit policies.

The RN will provide comprehensive patient care across age populations, applying growth and development principles and ensuring safety and quality outcomes in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• ACLS must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date.
• BCLS must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date.
• RN licensure is required for employment.
• Associate Degree required for the role.
• No travel required for this position.
• 1 year of experience required.

Job Summary and Qualifications

The registered nurse is responsible for coordinating the nursing care of assigned patients in the Unit in order to provide quality patient care to patients in applicable age specific populations (see addendum). The RN applies knowledge of the principles of growth and development. Employee is responsible for knowledge and skill necessary to provide care based on physical, psychological, educational, safety and related criteria for the appropriate age populations. According to established facility policies and procedures, the registered nurse provides and supplies professional nursing care exercising independent judgment in utilizing the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate. The RN provides leadership by working cooperatively with ancillary nursing and other patient care team personnel in maintaining standards for professional nursing practice in the clinical setting. Actual duties and responsibilities may vary depending on assigned area.

What qualifications you will need:

• Advanced Cardiac Life Spt must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date

• Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
