Job summary

HCA Houston Healthcare Medical Center in Houston is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for the Cardiac Cath Lab on a PRN basis. You will provide high-quality patient care, assist with procedures, and support the team in a fast-paced cath lab environment.

The role requires 2 years of critical care experience, an accredited nursing degree, and current Texas RN licensure (or multi-state license with transfer). BLS/ACLS certification is required.

Qualifications

• 2 years of Critical Care Nursing experience required.
• Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing preferred.
• Current Registered Nurse License in the State of Texas or multi-state compact.

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, implement and evaluate care for assigned patients.
• Assist with all procedures in the Cardiac Cath Lab.
• Scrub, circulate and record.
• Monitor patient status to ensure optimal outcomes.
• On-call participation.

Job Summary And Qualifications

We are seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) Cardiac Cath Lab for our facility to ensure that we continue to provide all patients with high quality, efficient care. What You Will Do In Your Role:

• You will be responsible for assessing, planning, implementing and evaluating care for assigned patients.
• You will assist with all procedures in the Cardiac Cath Lab.
• You will scrub, circulate and record.
• You will monitor patient status to ensure optimal patient outcome.
• You will be responsible for on-call participation.

What qualifications you will need:

• 2 years of Critical Care Nursing experience required.
• Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing is required.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing preferred.
• Current Registered Nurse License in the State of Texas or Multi-State Compact License (Employees with RN Compact License are required to obtain Texas RN License within 90 days of hire date)
• Current American Heart Association BLS/ACLS Certification is required.
