Job summary

HCA Houston Healthcare Clear Lake Heart Hospital is seeking a PRN Registered Nurse for the Cardiac Cath Lab to join a collaborative team dedicated to high-quality patient care. The role involves assessing and delivering care for targeted patients, assisting with Cardiac Cath Lab procedures, scrubbing, circulating, recording, and monitoring patient status to ensure optimal outcomes.

The ideal candidate will have an RN license, an Associate Degree, ACLS/BLS within specified timeframes, NIH Stroke

Qualifications

• ACLS and BLS required within specified timeframes after start date.
• NIH Stroke Scale within 6 months of employment start date.
• RN licensure as a Registered Nurse.
• 1 year RN Cardiac Cath Lab experience in an acute care setting.

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, implement and evaluate care for assigned patients.
• Assist with all procedures in the Cardiac Cath Lab.
• Scrub, circulate and record procedures.
• Monitor patient status to ensure optimal outcomes.
• Be available for on-call participation.

Job Summary and Qualifications

We are seeking a PRN Registered Nurse RN Cardiac Cath Lab for our facility to ensure that we continue to provide all patients with high quality, efficient care. We are an amazing team that works hard to support each other, and we are seeking a phenomenal addition like you who feels patient care is as meaningful as we do.

What You Will Do in Your Role:

• You will be responsible for assessing, planning, implementing and evaluating care for assigned patients

• You will assist with all procedures in the Cardiac Cath Lab

• You will scrub, circulate and record procedures

• You will monitor patient status to ensure optimal patient outcome

• You will be responsible for on-call participation

What qualifications you will need:

• Advanced Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 6 months of employment start date

• Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date

• NIH Stroke Scale must be obtained within 6 months of employment start date
