HCA Houston Healthcare Clear Lake Heart Hospital in Webster, TX is seeking a PRN Registered Nurse for the Cardiac Cath Lab to support patient care across procedures. The role offers flexible PRN shifts and a collaborative team focused on high-quality cardiovascular services.

The ideal candidate is an RN with an associate degree, ACLS/BLS, NIH Stroke Scale, and at least one year of Cardiac Cath Lab experience in an acute care setting, ready to scrub, circulate, and monitor patient status.

Qualifications

• ACLS and BLS certifications required within specified time frames.
• NIH Stroke Scale certification within 6 months of start date.
• RN license active and in good standing.
• Associate degree in nursing or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, implement and evaluate care for assigned patients.
• Assist with all procedures in the Cardiac Cath Lab.
• Scrub, circulate and record procedures.
• Monitor patient status to ensure optimal outcomes.
• Participate in on-call coverage as required.

Job Summary And Qualifications

We are seeking a PRN Registered Nurse RN Cardiac Cath Lab for our facility to ensure that we continue to provide all patients with high quality, efficient care. What You Will Do in Your Role:

• You will be responsible for assessing, planning, implementing and evaluating care for assigned patients
• You will assist with all procedures in the Cardiac Cath Lab
• You will scrub, circulate and record procedures
• You will monitor patient status to ensure optimal patient outcome
• You will be responsible for on-call participation

What qualifications you will need:

• Advanced Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 6 months of employment start date
• Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
• NIH Stroke Scale must be obtained within 6 months of employment start date
• (RN) Registered Nurse
• Associate Degree
• 1 year RN Cardiac Cath Lab experience in an acute care setting
