Job summary

Haven Hospice Lake City in Lake City, FL is seeking a licensed Registered Nurse to join our team as a Hospice RN. You will deliver compassionate, patient-centered care at a critical time in people’s lives, coordinating with families and the inter-disciplinary team.

This full-time role offers a Monday–Friday schedule, 8a–5p, with no weekends or holidays. You will work independently while receiving strong team support, with opportunities for professional growth in a mission-driven organization

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing school with current licensure to practice in state of operation.
• One year nursing experience required, 3+ years preferred.
• Experience in hospice or a similar setting preferred.
• Knowledge of the hospice philosophy of care.
• Commitment to clinical and documentation excellence.

Responsibilities

• Assess/monitor physical, emotional, and psychological needs of patients.
• Create hospice care plans that align with patient wishes and goals.
• Direct nursing care: administering medications, treatments, and interventions.
• Provide pain and symptom management.
• Educate and support the patient’s family and caregivers.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation.
• Participate in on-call rotation as required by local branch.

• Must be a licensed driver with an automobile that is insured in accordance with state/or organization requirements and is in good working order
