Job summary

Qualifications

• Associate degree in nursing or diploma of nursing required.
• BSN in progress or planned within three years of hire.
• Must have a current and valid RN license to work at the location.
• BLS/CPR certification required within 60 days of hire.
• Six months of nursing experience or active Nurse Residency Program participation.
• Strong teamwork, accountability and patient-focused care are essential.
• National certification in specialty preferred when eligible.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct care to a variety of complex patients as part of an interdisciplinary team.
• Expand knowledge and skills through ongoing training and development.
• Delegate, validate, evaluate and coordinate patient care with nursing peers, physicians and support services.
• Coordinate patient care and unit activities to ensure smooth operations.
