Job summary

Hackensack Meridian Health is seeking a Registered Nurse to provide direct patient care within an interdisciplinary team, coordinating care across services and ensuring quality outcomes. The role requires data-driven assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of care for a patient population.

The successful candidate will possess an associate degree or nursing diploma (BSN in progress preferred) and have six months of nursing experience or participate in the Nurse Residency Program.

Qualifications

• Requires an associate degree in nursing or nursing diploma.
• BSN in progress or willingness to pursue within three years of hire.
• Minimum six months of relevant nursing experience or active participation in Hackensack Meridian Health's Nurse Residency Program.
• Ability to learn quickly with accountability, teamwork, and commitment to ongoing education.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct care as part of the interdisciplinary team to complex patients.
• Delegate, validate, evaluate, and coordinate care.
• Coordinate patient care/unit activities among nursing peers, physicians and support services.
• Document care, patient status, and outcomes; communicate with patients and families.
