Job summary

Qualifications include an Associate degree in Nursing or nursing diploma, with BSN in progress or BSN within five years, and at least six months of nursing experience or Nurse Residency program

Qualifications

• Associate degree in Nursing or nursing diploma required.
• BSN in progress and/or must be obtained within five years of hire; MSN acceptable.
• Six months of nursing experience or participation in Hackensack Meridian Health's Nurse Residency Program.
• Ability to learn quickly, adapt to changing patient needs, and demonstrate teamwork and accountability.

Responsibilities

• Delivery of nursing care according to evidence-based practice and standards of care.
• Coordinate patient care with interdisciplinary team to ensure safe and effective outcomes.
• Provide patient and family education and document care appropriately.
• Perform continuous documentation and use bar-scanning for medication administration.
• Support discharge planning and transitional care for patients.
