Job summary

Hackensack Meridian Health Inc. is seeking a Registered Nurse to serve as a caregiver for a specific patient population, providing direct care as part of an interdisciplinary team.

The role requires an Associate degree or Diploma in Nursing, BSN in progress or within five years, and current RN license with BLS/CPR within 60 days. Candidates with six months of nursing experience or participation in Hackensack Meridian Health’s Nurse Residency are preferred.

Qualifications

• Must have an Associate degree in Nursing or Diploma in Nursing.
• BSN in progress and/or willing to acquire within three years of hire.
• Active RN license at Hackensack Meridian Health location by date of hire.
• BLS/CPR certification within 60 days of hire.
• Six months of nursing experience OR active participation in Nurse Residency Program.

Responsibilities

• Registered Nurse functions as a caregiver for a specific patient population and provides direct care as part of an interdisciplinary team.
• Directs and oversees care by delegating, validating, evaluating, and coordinating.
• Coordinates patient care/unit activities among nursing peers, physicians and support services.
