Job summary

BayCare Health System is seeking a Registered Nurse to join the Medical/Surgical Cardiac team at Winter Haven Hospital for a night shift. The RN provides patient-centered care in a hospital setting, follows nursing processes, and collaborates with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement plans of care.

• 6 months RN acute care experience preferred.

Position Description:

RN

The Registered Nurse works in a hospital setting and independently cares for a group of patients consistently using the nursing process and clinical standards. Delegates appropriate patient care activities to other members of the health care team. The Registered Nurse is also responsible for professional accountability and development.

The registered nurse collaborates and communicates with inter-disciplinary care providers in developing and assisting in plan of care

Organizes and prioritizes and updates plan of care in collaboration with patient, family, and significant others in a medical/surgical unit

Identifies patients at risk for injury regarding diagnosis, medication, procedure, age, etc., and prepares room environment.
