Job summary

BayCare Health System in Winter Haven is seeking a Registered Nurse to join the Med/Surg Cardiac team at Winter Haven Hospital. The RN provides patient care in a hospital setting, follows the nursing process, collaborates with the care team, and maintains professional accountability and development.

This full-time position is on the Night shift (6:45PM - 7:15AM), Shift 3, with every other weekend. Requirements include an RN license, BLS, 6 months of acute care RN experience, and an Associate's

Responsibilities

• The registered nurse collaborates and communicates with inter-disciplinary care providers in developing and assisting in plan of care
• Organizes and prioritizes and updates plan of care in collaboration with patient, family, and significant others in a medical/surgical unit
• Identifies patients at risk for injury regarding diagnosis, medication, procedure, age, etc., and prepares room environment.

Position Description:

RN

The Registered Nurse works in a hospital setting and independently cares for a group of patients consistently using the nursing process and clinical standards. Delegates appropriate patient care activities to other members of the health care team. The Registered Nurse is also responsible for professional accountability and development.
