Job summary

UF Health in Florida is seeking a Registered Nurse to support the Cardiac Catheterization Lab. Under the direction of the director/charge nurse, the RN uses the nursing process to assess patients, formulate diagnoses and care plans, and implement and evaluate care for pre- and post-cath lab patients.

The RN is responsible for the environment of care in accordance with Joint Commission Standards and for nursing care of cath lab patients.

Qualifications

• Must be Florida Registered Nurse with current licensure.
• BLS and ACLS certification required.
• Must be able to read, write, speak and understand English.

Responsibilities

• Assess and diagnose patient needs; develop and implement care plans.
• Provide nursing care for pre- and post Cardiac Cath Lab patients.
• Maintain environment of care per Joint Commission Standards.
