Job summary

UF Health Central Florida is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for their Cardiac Catheterization Lab. Under the direction of the charge nurse, the RN will provide comprehensive nursing assessments, formulate care plans, and ensure quality patient care in accordance with established standards.

Applicants must hold a valid Florida Registered Nurse License, possess BLS and ACLS certifications, and be able to communicate effectively in English. This position offers a rewarding opportunity to contribute to patient care in a critical environment.

Qualifications

• Valid Florida Registered Nurse License.
• Certification in BLS and ACLS is required.
• Special training in Cardiac Catheterization procedures preferred.

Overview

Under the direction of the director/charge person, the RN utilizes the nursing process, facilitates patient care making nursing assessments and diagnosis, formulates care plans based on the diagnosis and implements and evaluates the plan of care specific to Cardiac Catherization Lab patients. Responsible for environment of care according to Joint Commission Standards. Responsible for the nursing care of the pre and post Cardiac Catherization Lab patient.

Qualifications

• Education: Associate's Degree
• Licensure/Certification/Registration: Florida Registered Nurse License, BLS, ACLS
• Special Skills/Qualifications/Additional Training/Experience Required: Must be able to read, write, speak and understand English
