Job summary

The role emphasizes maintaining the environment of care per Joint Commission Standards and delivering skilled pre- and post-procedure nursing care to ensure patient safety and optimal outcomes.

Overview: Under the direction of the director/charge person, the RN utilizes the nursing process, facilitates patient care making nursing assessments and diagnosis, formulates care plans based on the diagnosis and implements and evaluates the plan of care specific to Cardiac Catherization Lab patients. Responsible for environment of care according to Joint Commission Standards. Responsible for the nursing care of the pre and post Cardiac Catherization Lab patient.
