UF Health in Saint Petersburg, FL seeks an experienced Registered Nurse for the Cardiac Catheterization Lab. Under direction of the director, you will assess patients, diagnose, plan and implement care tailored to cath lab patients, and evaluate outcomes.

Responsibilities include maintaining a safe environment per Joint Commission standards and providing pre- and post-procedure nursing care. Active Florida RN license, BLS and ACLS certifications are required to join a fast-paced cardiac team.

Overview: Under the direction of the director/charge person, the RN utilizes the nursing process, facilitates patient care making nursing assessments and diagnosis, formulates care plans based on the diagnosis and implements and evaluates the plan of care specific to Cardiac Catherization Lab patients. Responsible for environment of care according to Joint Commission Standards. Responsible for the nursing care of the pre and post Cardiac Catherization Lab patient.
