Job summary

UF Health is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for Cardiac Catheterization Lab duties. The RN will perform nursing assessments, diagnose conditions, and develop and implement individualized care plans for patients undergoing Cath Lab procedures.

Responsibilities include pre- and post-procedure nursing care, ensuring quality environment of care per Joint Commission Standards, and collaborating with the care team to optimize patient outcomes.

Overview:

Under the direction of the director/charge person, the RN utilizes the nursing process, facilitates patient care making nursing assessments and diagnosis, formulates care plans based on the diagnosis and implements and evaluates the plan of care specific to Cardiac Catherization Lab patients. Responsible for environment of care according to Joint Commission Standards. Responsible for the nursing care of the pre and post Cardiac Catherization Lab patient.
