Job description

As a Registered Nurse Cardiac Cath Lab- PRN, your voice to influence patient care is valued and empowered at every turn –whether through open, collaborative relationships with your direct manager or more formal opportunities through hospital councils and national nursing initiatives. You'll help shape decisions that elevate both patient outcomes and the future of nursing.

Responsibilities

• Implement and monitor patient care plans.
• Monitor, record, and communicate patient condition as appropriate.
• Serve as a primary coordinator of all disciplines for well-coordinated patient care.
• Note and carry out physician and nursing orders.
• Assess and coordinate patient’s discharge planning needs with members of the healthcare team.

Qualifications

• Associates Degree in Nursing or Diploma in Nursing Required.
• Bachelor Degree in Nursing preferred.
• Florida RN license and/or approved multistate RN license required. Compact license holders have 60 days to obtain the Florida license after relocation.
• BLS-AHA Provider issued card required within 30 days of start.
• ACLS-American Heart Association ACLS Provider issued card required within 6 months of hire.
• 1 year acute care experience required.
• Interventional Cath Lab or critical care experience preferred.
• 30 minute call window required.
