Job summary

HCA Florida University Hospital is seeking a skilled Cath Lab RN to contribute to patient care and outcomes in a dynamic hospital setting. The role emphasizes critical thinking, leadership, and collaboration with managers and nursing initiatives to shape practice.

The RN will ensure planning and delivery of nursing care in line with policy, act within the Florida Nurse Practice Act, and participate in hospital councils and nursing initiatives to advance the profession.

Qualifications

• ACLS must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date.
• BLS must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date.
• PALS must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date.
• RN license is required.
• Associate Degree in Nursing required.
• 3 years of Cath Lab RN experience.
• EP RN preferred.

Job Summary And Qualifications

The Registered Nurse demonstrates critical thinking skills, scientific judgment, and leadership in the anticipation and planning for the care of the patient. The Registered Nurse is responsible and accountable for the planning, directing and provision of nursing care to patients in accordance with the Florida Nurse Practice Act, physician’s orders, recognized nursing techniques, policies, procedures, established standards and administrative policies.

What qualifications you will need:

• Advanced Cardiac Life Spt must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
• Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
• PALS Pediatric Adv Life Supt must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
• (RN) Registered Nurse
• Associate Degree in Nursing required
• 3 years of Cath Lab RN experience
• EP RN preferred
