As part of the Health System, the Registered Nurse (RN) takes care of patients and is responsible for their well-being during their shift. The RN's job includes checking the patients’ health, planning their care, giving treatments, and reviewing how well the care is working, all based on the patient’s age. The RN uses knowledge and clinical skills to make decisions. Additionally, the RN helps teach and guide other staff members like Licensed Practical Nurses (LPN), Patient Care Technicians (PCT), and Unit Secretaries.
