Job summary

Hutchinson Regional Medical Center is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for BHU on a full-time day schedule. The nurse will provide patient care under physician guidance, mentor junior staff, and ensure accurate documentation and adherence to nursing policies.

The role requires ADN and active RN licensure in Kansas or a compact state. Ideal candidates will demonstrate strong communication, multitasking abilities, and a commitment to patient-centered care.

Qualifications

• Performs professional nursing duties per physician direction.
• Demonstrates ability to communicate effectively with patients and team.
• Uses basic computer systems for documentation and orders.
• Manages multiple patient care tasks with prioritization.

Responsibilities

• Provides care to patients under the direction of a physician.
• Mentors, develops and trains new staff and students.
• Demonstrates knowledge to provide care as per unit policies and procedures.
• Evaluates patient needs and maintains a comprehensive care plan within scope.
