Job summary

Essentia Grand Rapids Clinic is seeking an RN Nurse Manager to oversee daily department operations, lead staffing, and develop workflows that improve patient care and service delivery. You will guide policy input and budget considerations while supporting staff development and patient advocacy.

The role requires an RN license, BCLS certification, and at least two years of related nursing leadership experience, with a potential remote/hybrid option and day shift in Grand Rapids, MI.

Building Location: Essentia Grand Rapids Clinic Department: 2631800 FAMILY PRACTICE - GR Job Description: Provides oversight of the daily operations of the assigned department including staffing and developing/implementing workflows and processes as well as provides input to the leader regarding policies, procedures, systems, and operating budgets. Responsible for direct nursing leadership, nursing staff development, patient care, and patient advocacy. This individual may perform RN duties to skillfully assess the patient’s health and respond to interventions, provide treatments, and offer education and counseling that lead to improvement of the patient/family’s self-management skills. Supports continuous quality improvement efforts in order to achieve high quality and ongoing progress in all areas of care and service.

Experience 2 year’s nursing experience in related specialty, ambulatory setting; or community health with demonstrated leadership ability.

Licensure/Certification Qualifications: Certification/Licensure Requirements: Current license with the appropriate State Board of Nursing Current Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification or ability to become certified within 3 months from date of hire.
