Job summary

Essentia Health Moose Lake Clinic seeks an experienced registered nurse to provide comprehensive primary and specialty outpatient care, including telehealth encounters. You will apply the nursing process to assess concerns, plan care, and evaluate outcomes while coordinating with the care team.

The role requires an active RN license, BCLS certification (or ability to obtain within 3 months), and at least 1 year of nursing/triage experience.

Job Description: Is a professional practicing in a multi-faceted domain of specialty nursing that focuses on health care of individuals, families, groups, communities and entire populations. Provides care that occurs in primary and specialty care outpatient facilities, non-acute community out -patient settings; during tele health nursing encounters that occur in medical offices or by individual nurses in the home or business. Have authority, accountability and responsibility for nursing practice; makes decisions; and takes action consistent with the obligation to promote health and to provide optimal care recognizing that health is a universal right. Interacts with patients in concert with other health professionals, skillfully uses the nursing process to assess primary concerns, identify problems, analyze and integrate subjective and objective data, decide on a plan of action, apply the appropriate intervention and evaluate the outcome.

Education Qualifications: This position will work the following: 64 hours per 2 weeks No Weekends 8 Hour Shifts Day Shift: 8:00AM - 4:30PM

Licensure/Certification Qualifications: Current license with the appropriate State Board of Nursing. Current Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification or ability to become certified within 3 months from date of hire. 1 year of nursing and/or triage experience
