Ascension in Nashville, TN is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Advanced Heart Failure department. This full-time position features a night shift and a sign-on bonus up to $15,000.

You will implement and monitor patient care plans, coordinate multi-disciplinary care, and ensure orders are carried out while supporting discharge planning and patient safety.

Qualifications

• Active Tennessee RN license or a valid multistate license.
• ACLS certification within 6 months of hire; BLS within 1 month.
• Diploma from an accredited nursing program; relevant clinical experience.

How you’ll make an impact in this role

• Implement and monitor patient care plans. Monitor, record and communicate patient conditions as appropriate.
• Serve as a primary coordinator of all disciplines for well-coordinated patient care.
• Note and carry out physician and nursing orders.
• Assess and coordinate patient's discharge planning needs with members of the healthcare team.

What Minimum Requirements You’ll Need

Licensure / Certification / Registration:

• Advanced Life Support obtained within 6 Months (180 days) of hire date or job transfer date. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
• BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
• Licensed Registered Nurse credentialed from the Tennessee Board of Nursing or current home state license for multi-state license recognition "Compact State" obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.

Education

• Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing OR Required professional licensure at time of hire
