Job summary

Holy Family Medical Center in Des Plaines, IL is seeking a Registered Nurse to join our Medical-Surgical team on nights. This full-time role requires strong clinical skills and commitment to patient-centered care. You’ll provide direct patient care, perform nursing assessments, and collaborate with physicians and staff.

A sign-on bonus up to $10,000 is available for qualified candidates. Candidates must hold a valid state RN license, BLS, ACLS; BSN preferred.

Qualifications

• Current and valid state RN License.
• BLS certification required upon hire and maintained.
• ACLS certification preferred within 30 days of hire and maintained.
• Previous Acute Care hospital experience preferred.
• Ventilator Management experience preferred.
• BSN preferred.

Responsibilities

• Deliver safe patient care using the nursing process: assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation.
• Provide direct patient care within the scope of practice and guide patient/family teaching.
• Communicate changes in patient condition to physicians and coordinate with the care team.
