Job summary

Atlantic Health Morristown Medical Center is seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to provide high-quality patient care in collaboration with the healthcare team. You will monitor patients, administer medications, educate patients, and help maintain comprehensive medical records in a fast-paced hospital setting.

The role requires RN licensure, nursing program graduation, and BLS certification; BSN and ACLS are preferred.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Nursing Program.
• Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse.
• BLS certification.
• Preferred: BSN; ASN holders should complete BSN within five years.
• Preferred: Master's degree in nursing or related field.
• Preferred: 2+ years nursing experience.
• Preferred: ACLS certification.

Responsibilities

• Maintains accurate, complete health care records and reports.
• Administers medications to patients and monitors them for side effects.
• Prescribes assistive medical devices and related treatments.
• Monitors, reports, and records symptoms or changes in patient conditions.
• Assesses, implements, plans, or evaluates nursing care with the team.
• Records patient vital signs and medical information.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.
