Atlantic Health Morristown Medical Center is seeking nursing professionals to collaborate with a diverse healthcare team in treating patients with a range of injuries, illnesses, and disabilities. The role emphasizes patient monitoring, accurate record-keeping, and education for patients and families.

Responsibilities include medication administration, vital signs, care planning with the team, and documentation, with opportunities to work across departments and patient populations.

Qualifications

• BSN preferred.
• 2-3 years of ED or Acute Care experience.
• BLS required.
• ACLS required prior to ED orientation.
• PALS to be completed within one year of hire date with exception of pediatrics.
• Specialty knowledge, skills, and abilities may be required depending on department.

Responsabilités

• Maintains accurate, complete health care records and reports.
• Administers medications to patients and monitors them for side effects and reactions.
• Prescribes assistive medical devices and related treatments.
• Monitors, reports, and records symptoms or changes in patient conditions.
• Assesses, implements, plans, or evaluates patient nursing care plans with the healthcare team.
• Records patient vital signs and medical information.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.
