Job summary

Atlantic Health System in Morristown, NJ is seeking a Registered Nurse to join our patient care team. The role involves collaborating with physicians and staff to monitor patients, administer medications, document care, and educate patients and families.

The ideal candidate is a graduate of an accredited nursing program with RN licensure and current BLS/NRP certification; additional certifications and a BSN/ACLS are preferred to support advanced care.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Nursing Program (must have completed an accredited nursing program).
• Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN).
• BLS and NRP certification within 6 months of hire are required.

Responsibilities

• Maintains accurate health care records and reports.
• Administers medications to patients and monitors them for side effects and reactions.
• Prescribes assistive medical devices and related treatments.
• Monitors, reports, and records symptoms or changes in patient conditions.
• Assesses, implements, plans, or evaluates patient nursing care plans with the healthcare team.
• Records patient vital signs and medical information.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.
